Betting on FIFA in eSports

Game Features

The parimtach esport game differs from the traditional, real soccer in a number of ways:

  • The match lasts no more than 15-20 minutes of real time. Often even less - the whole meeting may take no more than 10 minutes;

  • The amount of added time to the halves and the match is minimal. Obviously, there are far fewer stops and distractions in FIFA than in traditional soccer;

  • It is difficult to predict the outcome of an event. Sometimes even careful analysis of the gamers' game makes it impossible to make a profitable wager;

  • In SRL (simulated reality) the outcome depends on artificial intelligence. If real players are involved in the confrontation, the gamers' skill determines the outcome;

  • Virtual soccer often offers more attractive quotes than traditional football. But the risks are higher as well.

Main types of bets in FIFA

Betting on FIFA matches is similar to betting in classic soccer. Players bet on outcomes, totals and handicaps. Bookmakers add additional outcomes - individual totals, the result of the game by half time, who will score the next goal, bet on a penalty or sending off, odd and even totals, "Both will score" and others.

Let's consider the main types of bets in FIFA:

  • betting on the outcome. The bet is made on the result at the end of the main time of the meeting. A bet is made on P1 (victory of the first team), P2 (victory of the second team), or a draw (X). In cyber soccer, most bets are made on the outcome. In addition, as in soccer, it is possible to bet that the team will not lose (1X or X2);

  • handicap. In virtual soccer there is a plus or minus handicap. The bet is suitable if the odds are too low on one of the participants, and high on the other;
  • total. The total number of goals scored by both participants together (total total) or individually (individual total).

Usually betting in virtual soccer is made in Live mode. Events here are not as long as in real sports, so prematch betting is not popular.

CyberFootball betting strategies

Experts not unreasonably deny a single profitable strategy in cyber soccer, which is explained by the peculiarities of the virtual game. Some familiar strategies are still practiced - for example, "overtaking". The model is used in betting on totals. The bettor bets on the number of goals in the match or bet on the goals of the gamer's team. If in the first of the confrontation not a single goal was scored, then a bet is made on TB 1.5 - or that number, to which the odds correspond to at least 2.

It is also worth noting the strategy of D. Werth. The author believes that four bets are made to win in virtual soccer. Wagers are made on the total:

  • After the 25th minute of the meeting a bet on TB (2.5) is made (if the score to this point remains 0:0);

  • After the 50th minute it is necessary to bet on TB (1.5) in case of the same situation;

  • by the 70th minute it is necessary to bet on TB (0.5), if the score remains the same.
